The story of Cassie – she is our treasure
Cassie was a hardworking mom, a giving granny, and a trustworthy friend. She raised 2 kids while working full-time all by herself. Yes, she is divorced and she got some help from her mom. Still, I can’t imagine how she survived those years.
It was a Saturday afternoon, Mat, my youngest son was watching tv with Cassie and suddenly saw her start to breathe hard. He was only 8 and no one else was at home. You can imagine what happened next. She passed away that day.
Our whole family was in grief, but I remember she always told us about the “grace from God” and how she will never forget her earthly days even when she goes to heaven one day. That’s why we chose a bright smiling photo of her with her last words safely inside a locket necklace I purchased from YFN.
I’m sure our souls will cross again in time and I will always have you in my heart, mama. God will wipe all of your sorrows and we wish you to rest well in your deep sleep.
